SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade Redemption Game Jumps to #3 Ranking During Testing

Here’s the Ticket!

Andamiro’s SpongeBob card pusher game was set-up by the AEM/Alpha Team on 7-29-15. Players win tickets/points but also can win character cards and trade them in for tickets/points. Collecting a set of 9 different character cards is worth a super bonus.

The first week Sponge Bob grossed $3102 with a 17% win % and an overall ranking of #6. Week 2 revenues were $3008 @ 21% with a ranking of #5. Week 3 revenues were $4576 @ 23% with an amazing ranking of #3. This is absolutely incredible for a new 2 player game to rank that high especially with so many other new test games at the test location. The concept of redeeming cards and collecting card sets is similar to the #1 ranked Wizard of Oz pusher and we are glad to see that this simple concept can add additional dimensions to a redemption game or a merchandiser.

08/21/15 $4,576 23% 08/14/15 $3,008 21% 08/07/15 $3,102 17%

Note that the Win% is increasing as more players are collecting their cards and waiting until they have a complete set and can redeem the set for 5000 tickets/points. [Update-Week 4 came in at 32%]. We set the value of each character card at 50 tickets and the complete 9 card set at 5000 tickets. Currently a won token is worth 5 tickets. TRR will keep you updated as we track the Win% and make adjustments to keep it in the average 30% range. There are many options available to keep SpongeBob attractive to the players.

Amusement Entertainment Management (AEM) Continues to Help the Industry

AEM’s mission statement has always been to help move the industry forward and continue to raise the bar. In addition to assisting Elaut with the Tower of Tickets Rotary and Coast to Coast with the development of a Ticket Crane, AEM is currently working with 28 clients (medium to large size) whose feasibility studies have been completed. Of those 28 clients, 26 have obtained funding and are in the development stage process. AEM is well known throughout the financial industry and has a great track record. Below is a sampling as reported by Jerry Merola, AEM Managing Partner:

“AEM is presently developing Pennsylvania’s first indoor skydiving venue in the Pocono Mountains. The $9 million project will propel thrill seekers 40 feet into the air within a specially-designed air chamber operated by a DC-3 jet engine. It’s entertainment on steroids.”

“Toronto’s largest indoor waterpark is currently under development at The Hershey Center Sportsplex. AEM is coordinating all aspects of the project, including market feasibility, capital fundraising, and government relations. The $75 million project is expected to go online in early 2017.”

“Lancaster, Pennsylvania’s newest FEC will open in November, 2015 with the help of AEM. The 22,000 sq. ft. FEC incorporates design and operating concepts that will allow it to stand apart from the rest. AEM provided full development services, including market feasibility, procurement of bank financing, equipment selection, and establishment of the operations strategy.”
